Soft & Chewy Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies


1 cup unsalted butter-soft
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup white sugar
2 eggs
2 tbsp milk
2 tsp vanilla
2 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
2 ½ cups oatmeal
2 cups chocolate chips


In a large bowl cream butter and sugars well. Add eggs, one at a time. Add milk and vanilla. Blend well.

In a separate bowl mix flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.

Add flour mixture to sugar mixer a little at a time. Blend well.

Stir in oatmeal and chocolate chips until incorporated.

Refrigerate batter for 20 minutes before baking.

Preheat oven to 350.

Bake for 10-12 minutes until lightly golden. Do not over bake.

Yield: 5 dozen
